[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The overall objective of SPEER-A is to strengthen earthquake emergency response and rescue capacity across the Black Sea Basin area by enhancing preparedness, resilience and cooperation among the participating countries.
\nTo achieve this goal, the project pursues two specific objectives:<\/p>\n

1. Strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange among stakeholders involved in earthquake preparedness and emergency response.
\n<\/b>SPEER-A promotes the development of strong cross-border partnerships through joint training activities, support to volunteer networks, awareness actions and educational initiatives involving schools and local communities.
\n2. Enhancing disaster risk management through the pilot use of innovative technologies.
\n<\/b>The project develops and tests new solutions, including a Virtual Reality Laboratory for earthquake hazards, a mobile application for preparedness and emergency response, and an adaptable concept for temporary emergency housing. These tools are expected to improve risk perception, facilitate coordination and increase the resilience of communities across the Black Sea Basin.
\nBy combining scientific knowledge, practical experience and transnational cooperation, SPEER-A contributes to a more prepared, connected and resilient Black Sea region.<\/div>\n
